Then the floor is damp mopped with clean rinse water and is allowed to dry. At last the appropriate wax sealer is applied.

Replacing Damaged Floors
Certain things damage the floors, be it tiled or hardwood, by the means of simple wear or tear. Small wear-tear does not affect the look but a serious one like a crack or a missing portion needs replacing damaged floors. To avoid any mishap it should be done soon.
There are different ways for replacing damaged floors of tiles and hardwood. Wood is made of grain running in the same direction, so it is very much possible for it to splitter There may be various reasons for it to get damaged like high heels, objects dropped, pushing of chairs leg etc. The wood replacing generally requires utility knife, a proper adhesive and a kneepad. When the board is damaged, then you may require a chisel, hammer, pry bar, sometimes may be drilling machine also.

Removal of tile may require you to remove the grout first. Removal of grout needs to be done carefully as chipping out old grout can be a tedious task. For this type of works you should ensure that you are wearing goggles, as the grout spreads out and may get into your eyes. The tile should be taken out carefully for removal and the area for the new tile should be prepared by scraping away the old mortar with a scraper or a metal putty knife. Putting a new tile thereafter a thin sheet mortar, then the application of grout follows this procedure.
